Meli-Ann Designs was created from a love of family and food. We know how special it is to celebrate a milestone with loved ones and want to ensure our delicious treats compliment your special event.
Meli-Ann Designs offers custom made cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, cookies, high tea’s and sweet treats. Our unique cakes and sweets are freshly prepared with quality ingredients and are ideal birthday cakes, engagement cakes, christening cakes, baby shower cakes, anniversary cakes, wedding cakes or corporate cakes.
About Melissa
With a background in Marketing, I have always thrived on creativity and bringing an idea to fruition. When my eldest child was born, it became my mission to create an awesome birthday cake for him. I spent that first year practicing and when the year rounded out, I not only created him a special cake, but I also made the big decision to shift my career to something a little sweeter.
From the moment I launched Meli-Ann Designs, my focus has always been on creating the best possible products for my clients. I am continually monitoring industry trends, I work with leading pastry chefs to hone my baking skills and participate in on-line and in-person training seminars to strengthen my skills.
I take so much pride in creating a sweet treat that will be the highlight of their event, but I particularly love to see the smile on their face when they first see what I have created.
